New Website, Same Old Juice

New website

Again. Erm, again.

After a bout of rather extreme indecisiveness, the site is sort of back to how it was. Except not. Have a look.

Hush House Mix

PYC boys Stickman & Elsewhere have put together a half-hour mix for Hush House – check it out here.

New Work

New Work

…and that.

My latest project, a website for Access SUMMIT, is available to view from the menu (<- over there).

I’ve also rolled out the latest version of PYC Sessions, featuring an updated layout and various small improvements site-wide.

A Transitional Period

A Transitional Period

aka: Moving House

This is day 6 of the new flat/ no Internet connection/ use-phone-as-modem combination, and it’s really, really irritating. (Though “impractical” is probably a better word.)

UHC have an exhibition on at the moment at Manchester Museum – you should definitely check it out. From the link above:

One hundred drawings of endangered British species, created by artist Jai Redman, were permanently tattooed onto volunteers in a continuous three-day public event. The result of this unique performance was an army of ambassadors for threatened and rare birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, plants and fungi from around the UK. All of the 100 tattooed volunteers had a unique and life changing encounter with contemporary art and ecology, each adopted the role of ‘ambassador’ for their species, raising money and awareness for the conservation partners and promoting education about changing ecologies and species loss.

Google+ is slowly rolling out, and looks to Facebook as Facebook did to MySpace “back in the day” – hopefully they’ll actually keep this one clean rather than allowing it be clogged up with likeable pages based around increasingly farfetched concepts. Add me if you’re on it!

There’s a couple of new bits in the works as well, although working on them is difficult given the 2.4kbps connection speed I’ve been enjoying.

Tinkering

It never stops round here.

A couple of new things in the photography bit and the ability to switch between list and grid view – how very fancy. There’s also a tumblr, which I’ll be filling with the trivial shit from my daily life and which you are in no way obliged to pay attention to.

I’ve also been pleasantly surprised at just how far my Timeline of the Universe has travelled – thanks to anyone who’s reposted or liked it! :)

PS – the picture is a watermelon plant.

+ Don’t forget, we’re giving away a free TP of Erra‘s forthcoming release over at PYC Sessions. The question isn’t particularly difficult so if you fancy getting your mitts on the prize then go forth and enter.
